Sharmila, a business consultant, plays many roles as a Trainer, Instructional Designer, Learning Strategist and a Business Head. She is known for creating effective systems and efficient execution in her consulting assignments.
Sharmila has a Masters in English Literature and has been in the Learning and Development space for close to 20 years. Her experience is varied ranging from training to e-learning to business development. Certified by City and Guilds, UK, in International Training Practice and in Instructional Design from Symbiosis, a premier B-School in India, Sharmila has completed a management program for women entrepreneurs from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.
Sharmila is an ROI Professional who has helped her clients measure the effectiveness of their learning programs using the Philips ROI Methodology. She has created a niche space for herself as an Instructional Design Trainer, and has trained and worked with organizations such as Sify, World Bank, Cognizant, Emantras and Hexaware, helping their content development teams to create learning materials that are in line with the best practices in Instructional Design.
Sharmila’s corporate experience is with Ma Foi Management Consultants and Element K. Sharmila was also featured in the Femina (Feb 2014 issue) for her work in business communication.
Sharmila co-founded GreenBooks Learning Solutions in 2008, and after a successful stint of 5 years, she has started her own enterprise EnglishCoach Services Pvt Ltd.
